Fine Art Elective
No time for art in your school schedule? Come to the Workshop and learn to paint, draw realistically and make sculpture or pottery and keep in touch with your creative side. The Art Workshop will help your teen find his/focus in art while exploring other media to help them become a well rounded artist. Art appreciation, art history, and understanding visual expression of self and others will be our focus this year as well as mastering techniques and understanding composition. A field trip will be planned to visit exhibits currently at museums and galleries. Students will be inspired to reach a new level of craftsmanship by the contemporary artists exhibits in the gallery at Funkes. Extended time makes room for weekly drawing sketchbook and critiques.(Note- We have helped 3 home schooled students get into the art college of their choice in the past 3 years on the strength of their portfolios!) Friday NEW TIME 12-1:30pm (Home School)
Friday 4:00-5:30pm 
Saturday 4-5:30pm
A $15 registration fee will be added to your tuition.
